BELLAHOUSTON SKI CLUB'S SOCIAL SIDE

Bellahouston Ski Club in Bellahouston Park has a wide range of events which are held in and around the club each year.

The ski club has a very relaxed  friendly atmosphere and the social side is very popular for members, non-members are always very welcome. The staff within the club promote a very positive image and are happy to try something new for this reason the ski club hold many different events  ranging from;

• Party Nights
• Summer BBQ
• Halloween Party
• Christmas Party
• Fund raising nights

Every year there is a party night after a long run of winter races up to December, usually the club champs. Everyone lets their hair down and relaxes  enjoying each other's company after such a tough racing schedule. This is not a dress-up event as most that attend have been outside all day and night watching the racers usually in freezing cold conditions or whatever other weather our Scottish winter throws at us. 

The Summer BBQ is always fun but can be pretty exhausting after taking part in all that the activities provided. Tickets are very reasonably priced which includes a BBQ even if you have had food before you come the smell makes you want it anyway. Members bringing along friends and family giving them the chance to try taster ski and snowboarding and tubing is always on offer and great fun just look for the queue. There is always music inside and out which is great to take in the sounds with a burger and a nice glass of something sitting in the sun. This really is an amazing experience for those who have never tried snow sports and all at a great price for everyone looking for a fun night out.

Halloween and Christmas Party's  are so popular with the little ones and it's really nice to see them all excited and dressed up for the occasion as they usually have ski gear all year long. There is music and party games that keep them running and dancing around from start to finish, you would think that this would exhaust them but no, quiet often they are more hyper when it is all over probably due to the sweets and juice that are consumed. Prizes for dress-up are given out, also presents from Santa for all the children at Christmas time.

Fund raising nights are often held at the ski club, the club are so flexible and often tickets are sold enabling everyone that come to experience usually tubing but sometimes skiing and snowboarding as well. The party atmosphere is really good and over the years there have been a huge range of events, some the club have held and some the members. There have been Casino nights, Quiz nights, dinner dances (not usually in the club but over at the art lovers). Plus those fund raising individuals who embark on ventures overseas to help the disadvantaged in poorer countries or those who are raising funds for local charity's.
